Managing the proportion of testers to (other) developers, by Cem Kaner, Elisabeth Hendrickson & Jennifer Smith-Brock, is a required reading from the BBST® Foundations course. An earlier version of this paper appeared in the 2001 Proceedings of the International Software Quality Week. Later, the same year, it is was republished for the Pacific Northwest Software Quality Conference.
