The BBST® Foundations course uses a multifaceted assessment approach that focuses on both your understanding and your ability to apply core testing concepts. Here’s how evaluation works throughout the course:

  • Quizzes – These are designed primarily for self-assessment. They help you check your understanding of key concepts after each module.

  • Assignments – These are the core of the course. You’ll apply what you’ve learned through hands-on testing tasks, case studies, and analytical questions.

  • Final Exam – The course wraps up with a comprehensive, open-book final exam that tests your grasp of the key ideas and your ability to reason through realistic testing scenarios.

Throughout the course, you’ll receive individual feedback from instructors, aimed at helping you reflect, improve, and better understand the material. In addition, for selected assignments, your work will be reviewed by fellow students. These peer reviews provide valuable alternative perspectives and help you gain fresh insights into your own work.

Evaluation in BBST® is rigorous but growth-focused. The goal isn’t just to pass—it’s to help you learn and build real, transferable skills you can apply in your work.
